Critical Reasoning forms a dominant element of XAT’s Verbal and Logical Ability section. This section tests a candidate’s ability to actively and carefully analyze a written paragraph or passage and evaluate the options on the basis of the analysis.

Every year XAT has conventionally put up 3-4 critical reasoning questions in its Verbal Ability section, which are of medium to hard difficulty level. XAT generally gives you a 5-6 line paragraph consisting of dense ideas and concepts like Facts, Assumptions, Arguments, etc. This paragraph is followed by a question having 5 answer choices. An aspirant is required to read between the lines while going through the paragraph and critically evaluate each and every option while jumping to the answer. The question can be of finding conclusion, finding inferences, or assumption of the authors.

To help you easily navigate through the stormy sea of dense concepts of Facts, Assumptions, Arguments, Inferences, etc. Knowvation has made the following dedicated sessions for the XAT level Critical Reasoning.
